That's actually very interesting, but a mule of what? What coin die do you think it could be paired with? Full obverse and reverse pics needed.

There is nothing noticeable on the obverse or reverse. Just the edges of the coin. there is something under it, hard to tell really. I could try to take better pics, or email a high res to you. Thank you so much for responding.

No, it's going around the coin in a circular pattern, not in one direction.


ADDED: not in a northwest, southeast direction that feeder fingers might go in but is in one direction, outward.

Given the radial nature of the anomaly, it does appear to be a die wear issue, although unusual.
