I got this lovely penny for 50 cents when I was a kid.
The coin collector guy was nice because that's all I had and it was cool watching him mark down the price. (Now that I think about it more, I did spend more money there as I got older lol)

It's a shame about the damage ( PMD), but still worth keeping, since you've had it for so long.

Zooming in on the date, top curl of the first 9 looks similar to DDO-002s. Although damaged might want to look into it.
