It's a nice looking coin, but it's not a proof.

I thought it was a proof because the LIBERTY is so SQUARED. and it is matte finished... But ok if not a proof, then MS. ? I have been reading about how difficult it is to tell the two apart. I really need some experienced help with this one. Please forward. Thanks in advance.

Somehow this proof or very nice business strike made it into a roll I was hunting I purchased on ebay.. I have no history to offer. It displays luster in person. Obviously, I noticed it immediately. Thank you.

I'm thinking business strike, not proof. Can't fully evaluate for a grade, given the posted pics. Yes, coins can be a pain to photograph. There's a possibility it may have been cleaned--not sure of that. The coin may fall somewhere in the mid AU range. Would be fun to examine in-hand.

The color of this coin is unnatural, IMO.

The rims are the first thing I look at on a proof is found in the wild. These do not look correct.

Looks like a Business Strike. We'll need better photos to grade it.

You found that in a roll? Nice.
Not a proof, just a lightly circulated coin.
AU, probably cleaned.

Yes found in a roll... ok Thank you for all the input. I also believe it is a business strike, and all your combined knowledge helps me feel better about my decisions...I appreciate it. I would have not wanted to sell it if it turned out to be a proof.
