1959 D RPM 003 FS 503 D/D/D Roosevelt dime BU. Note the nice rounded doubling on Roosevelt's lips. May be this doubling was overlooked when the RPM was attributed. Thanks, Frank B.

Hi, thank E V. What do you think of the lips? They have a rounded appearance. Let me know. Frank B. Next I am going to upload the 1962 D 2 over 1 ( in upper loop of 2 ). Many will sat die gouge, die dent ect. I know it is a remnant of a 1 for sure. It is not strong but it is there.

The mint mark position isn't even close to RPM-003. Start with an acceptable RPM attribute, then move on to the lips, which is a whole different discussion.

Hi, it has the die mark / die chip on the nose. Stage C. Thanks, Frank B.

Die markers are used after the RPM is figured out, not a way to figure out an RPM, unless things are really close. The mint mark on your coin is too far north. Can't be RPM-003 unless your photos are at some obtuse angle.

Hi, so you are saying James made a mistake when he attributed the coin for me?

It's an RPM, there does look to be doubling on the lips, and I have to agree with TB.
The mint mark location on your coin is higher than the images on VV.

An overlay would answer the question unequivocally though.

Hi, I hope you are correct. If so this would be a new discovery RPM and doubled die OBV combo. Maybe James was in a rush that day. He did attribute it a while back 15 yr + Thanks, Frank B.

As already explained to you, not a match. VV's on the left and yours on the right.

Yours is both north and east of VV's listing.

Nice find! But I agree this is certainly not FS-503, it's missing at least two additional punches of the mintmark.

Once we reopen submissions on doubleddie.com, this would be a good replacement for the missing WRPM-003.

Agree with MM placement being a non-match, but indeed follow up on a re-submittal for a different, known or new RPM!
Good Luck.
