I opened a RAM 1c roll yesterday and found this coin in it. There is a piece of the rim missing near "BE" of Elizabeth and near the possum's shoulder. Not a very big piece missing but certainly not PMD. Would this be an example of a clipped planchet? I am happy to have found it anyway and it is going into my odds and sods collection.

That's a nice looking coin...I hope it's a clip but can't say yes or no from photos.

Thanks everyone for your input. I am happy to think it's a clipped planchet. Might not be a spectacular example but certainly welcome in my collection. I think I will keep it in a capsule since it is uncirculated. Happy noodling.
