I added this 1833 Coronet Large Cent to my Dansco 7070. The coin has uniform dark chocolatey brown surfaces that are hard to capture in a photo. I am not familiar with grading early coppers, but I was pleased with its eye appeal and problem-free surfaces. Thoughts on the grade?
Notice how the surface of the coin is darker around and in the interstices of the stars. This suggests an old cleaning. The details range look to me to be in the VF range.
