1942-S Nickel. S Mint Mark To Right Of Monticello?

I know the only S Mint mark was the silver one from that year, but this isn't silver. Frith Nickel? Just odd. Report this Post to the Staff

With the exception of Denver, for the type 1 nickel the MM's will be above the dome. This is a Type 1 1942 Nickel right before the mint switched to a silver alloy. Collecting since 1972.
