Not retained, it's fully broken.

And maybe too small to qualify as a die break? It's borderline imo. I might call it a die chip if I were recording it as a die marker for a variety.

What Tanman said.

The RIDB (retained interior die break) is referred to way too often on here when it is not. Usually what you will have is an IDB (interior die break) or just a die chip, which is what you have. The RIDB is when a piece of the die comes loose but then settles back in and an IDB is when a piece totally breaks off that is 4 mm or larger. COC gives a good definition of each at the top of each page.
