This 1960 D Lincoln Cent belongs to the coin museum. This coin looks fat. 1960 and the D mintmark are fat; look bubbly? Can you find any more interesting coins out there, than this? False error or something else? Can you find more issues in this coin?

Please post one or two sharp end-on pics of the rim. An accurate weight to two decimal places might tell us something. Could be an early stage Dryer Coin....maybe...

Pics too dark to evaluate. Please show us lighter pics, one of each side, rotated right-side up. Just one coin per thread.

Letter "L" is not aligned? Half of the "Pluribus" has some extra metal bunding together. It weighs 3.13.

This coin seems different. There are many die clashes in this coin. Do the numbers and lettering look doubled? They sure look fat to me. I need an explanation from the expert. Is this 1960 small date coin a first edition?

Can't tell much with the pics given but just looks like a coin struck from tired, worn out dies. There were several clashes tied to the 60 and 60D dies though but once again, cannot tell from the pics given.

1960 and 1960D small date clash files. https://www.maddieclashes.com/1960-...d-die-files/

Please post one or two sharp, end-on pics of the rim--taken from the side (not vertical), looking directly at the rim. Thanks.

Okay, I will. I need to know more about this specific mysterious 1960 penny. Some 50s and 60's Lincoln pennies appear to have more chemicals. This coin is thicker than normal coins. Maybe the first edition?
