Would anyone have specific knowledge about entries in Krause regarding these coins?

An example of what I am talking about is Y19a.1 Here we have entries for each individual year, encompassing the various mints and specific proofs per year, but at the bottom of the list is a listing that gives the year as 1901-14, common date proofs.

Does anyone know for sure what this means? Sorry to be pedantic, but I need factual information and not theories, as this is for the World Coin Database that some of the members here are working on.

And if you would like to get involved in the database, check out this thread.

Sean, I believe they listed them that way because they have the same value. And they didn't want to list them individually.

I thought that too initially, except that the other countries have separate listings for proofs, regardless of value, and the individual proofs listed within the same denomination have the same values as the listing for common date proofs. Very confusing.
