Welcome Angela45.

Please go back and read what Condor101 posted, and you will see why these are damaged coins.
Also, the Original Poster said
Quote:
I don't know the exact diameter but I can tell you it is or at least appears to be almost exactly double a regular quarter.

I'm guessing this quarter wasn't twice as wide as a regular quarter.

ps. Just because someone offers a coin for crazy money doesn't mean that is what is worth (or will sell for.)
If you feel it's a legitimate sale, please post a link to the coin you mentioned for the coin for $10,000.00

To CCF Angela45! Start a new thread and post pictures. I'm thinking that you have damaged coins.

@Charliesk8 I agree with JimmyD, above.

I agree with John1 about it being PMD.
It doesn't matter how it was done, what does matter is that with it being struck in the reeded collar, there is no way that you could have a plain edge

to CCF.
If your quarters look like the OPs then you either have 2 Dryer Coins, 2 spooned quarters, or one of each..

in any case they are damaged

These replies were split into their own topic for the proper attention.

We will gladly help you, but we will need images first. We are locking this topic to prevent posts with "We need images". You will get many more quality responses when there are quality images in the first post of a topic. Please start a new topic when you are able to upload pictures. If needed you can use the testing forum. Tutorials are below.

Note: When you start a new topic this one may be removed. So don't panic if you get an email that your topic was removed it's only this one.

PC: We highly recommend IrfanView. (Download) (Irfanview Tutorial)

Apple Computers: Tutorial here: http://goccf.com/t/466343

Cell Phones (iPhone or Android): First, do not upload cell phone pictures of screens. They are terrible. Please check your camera settings are set to Medium quality. If it uses compression use 70%, it's perfectly fine for the internet. For file type please use WEBP if your phone has it, otherwise JPG. Avoid PNG and GIF, they are horrible choices. Be sure to crop the image to only show the coin. This is a great setup for cell phones.
