johnmedon New Member Canada 3 Posts	Posted 10/21/2024 05:30 am The coin itself is not scuffed, nor has it ever been removed from its enclosure. It is in a sealed business card type packing - and the scuffs are just on the exterior of the enclosure. Hoping to get some opinions on this! I recall purchasing it from a dollar store back in 2001, so this was a cool find! Report this Post to the Staff

okiecoiner Pillar of the Community Canada 5585 Posts	Posted 10/21/2024 2:28 pm It looks to me like it's just cellophane/mylar "cracks" from being stretched or pressure applied (something on top of it). It'd say that the clear "top coat" is going to split or tear. Whoops, now I see that there is something wrong with the coin, or maybe part of the container/card.
