Is this PMD or something else? I took 3 pics with different lighting. I can separate them if need be.

Just wondering...do you have a loupe or do you put all coins under a scope?

With the condition of the obverse this is a 5 second coin (for me) with a loupe you're able to view the area in question by tilting and rotating the coin to determine if it's gouge damage or struck through error.

Greasy Fingers, just guessing, I would say a scope. I came into the game late, around 2017 as far as really searching for errors and varieties and tried really hard to use a loupe but could not. I think it's what you had available and made work in the timeline you started in, and I had a scope available, as do most now.... You know what you know.

Tunnioc, good job! I would have to say you are spot on. Slightly rotated, as usual. Nice find and good eye, Seeker!

Sorry I'm slow getting back to you. I'm not so sure it's a clash as I would expect to see something in the field and there are only hits there. Although I have to admit the area for a clash looks quite good.

Anyway, here is a marked up pic. The green areas are incuse and the red is raised. Is it possible for two hits from different directions pushing the metal toward the middle causing the raised area?
