That's interesting, but I can see how it could be created artificially.

Welcome to CCF.
Impressive cutting error and my favorite kind, the obvious kind. These are categorized into Minor, Moderate and Major - yours is moderate. Keep it from getting handled and into a quality currency sleeve. If you don't have one, message me and I'll send you one. As far as value goes, I'd guess upwards to $500 and maybe more if graded and authenticated. Super nice find.

The more I look at it, this picture is confusing. A refection off a cell phone with a broken screen cover? Can you do that with your phone

Wow, very cool find. I'd be tempted to go back to that particular ATM, get a few more hundred worth of $20's & see what else pops out.

SteveInTampa. I'm from Indiana. Do you know where I can take it around here to have it authenticated and graded? I'm very curious to see what they say about it. Now I wish I could have kept the other $20's I got with this one. The serial numbers were all in order.

Quote: I'm from Indiana. Do you know where I can take it around here to have it authenticated and graded? Your best bet is to google "Coin Store near me." Visit a local Coin Store in your area. They can give you their opinion and most likely be able to submit the note for grading and authentication. The same grading companies that they use to get their coins graded, also grade paper money.
