I'm new and have been searching all my quarters. I came across this and was wondering what everyone thinks. There is definitely doubling, but I'm not sure what type.

To CCF! That's called Incused Machine Doubling. Very common on these newer quarters. https://www.error-ref.com/incused-m...ne-doubling/

At first blush, I would say incuse Machine Doubling or maybe late stage Die Deterioration pulling the letter cavities into elongated shapes. But visually that would be an extreme example of either phenomenon.

Can we see pics of both coin faces in full?

Actually, I'm going to retract the Die Deterioration comment. That would mean that the raised letter on the working die was getting physically longer, which makes no sense. My brain just isn't accustomed to working inverted for the latest incuse coin lettering.

It must be incuse MD.
