Circ Bin strikes again I have had this coin for awhile now,and I finally have some decent pics. It has been cleaned and has F+ detail I would say. Some of the markers are there and some are not (at least not that I can see ) for a VAM 32.

I have pics of all the areas mentioned on the VAM page, Have a look and tell me what you think. Thanks !

First obverse and reverse pics.

I guess I can see something under the 1, but it seems to high for the doubling on the VAM page. Placement of date looks right to me.

Not sure I can see anything inside the lower loop of the last 9 either...

There is a tiny scratch coming out of the Eagle's neck, looks like it matches the VAM 32

I don't see the scratches in the wing mentioned on the page...but they are sooooo tiny ! I also do not see wing scratches mentioned on a couple other different 99 Micro O VAM's - so I can rule them out I guess.

I don't see the tail scratches mentioned on other 99 Micro O VAM's

I do see the doubling of the bow for the VAM 32

1899-O-Micro-O-Morgan

I also can see the bumps at the end of the leaf that are in the pic for the VAM 32

I might add that the "Smoking Gun" attribution of the die crack over TA into the denticles is very light on this coin. So...I am calling this one a VAM 32 until someone can show me otherwise Listed as an I-3...but an R-6

Thanks for Looking !

I'm buying VAM-32 for this one. Attribution details fade with die wear, and the mint mark placement is unique enough to keep it from being any of the other Micro O varieties.

II, I can't make up my mind on this one. A couple of things that bother me. 1. The doubling inside the bottom of 9, this is a well protected area, some sign of it should show. 2. Scratch between eagles neck and wing, another protected area, I don't see it. 3. The mint mark. When I draw a straight line from the ribbon bow folds on the Vamworld pictures it just does touch the top of the O. On yours it cuts through the top of the O. We're dealing with pictures and they can be decieving. If you check this one out further, let us know the results.

These things bothered me also MorgansRmine, some diagnostics are there, some are not. Since I cannot match the ones that are there with any other Micro O VAM, I finally decided it had to be a VAM32. Some of the other Micro O VAM's have date placement pics, and some only describe the date position- I figured this for the closest match. Could be a different die state I guess, short of sending it to Leroy Van Allen I will go with the VAM32 designation- I am tired of looking at this one! I have had this coin for two months and it has been a challenge to pin it down, and only five other VAM numbers to compare with you would think it would be easy ! This coin has been cleaned but alot of dirt remains inside the devices, obscuring the details. Maybe I will post this one over at VAMworld and see what kind of responses I get. Thanks for your help.
