I will randomly take all the change out of my pocket when I see knuckleheads trying to sell minor die chips on FB. I average about 40% of the coins in my pocket at any given time have at least one die chip.
My feeling is minor ones, are NOT errors. If a mint worker grabs a sample off the press and sees a minor chip, he's not going to swap out the die. If they are within mint tolerance, they are certainly not errors. That's perfectly normal die wear.
