CACG grade: AU Details rim damage, scratched, cleaned, questionable color.
My grade: MS-63

I agree with 63, but I have no experience with CACG grading practices.

Strong luster, decent strike for the year, no major hits and only a few small marks. The shallow scrape in front of Liberty's chin seems the most significant defect. Might be a rim issue at 2:00 on the obverse but it seems trivial. Looks very solid for 63 and 64 should be possible.

I think CAC would keep it at 63. Obverse and rim dings hold it back.

Quote: I agree with 63, but I have no experience with CACG grading practices. All the sticker collectors and registry chasers are going to dislike my thoughts, but I've seen coins way overgraded and way undergraded, so the grading consistency is not on point so far. I haven't been seeing premiums for the slabs (despite many claiming). Now they've teamed up with WitterBrick mystery boxes so now thousands of slabs are a gimmick. Raw coins for me!!!

Nice looking MS63-64, I wouldn't have a problem with either.

CACG most likely gave this an MS-62.
