As far as I can tell it is, but I noticed it on some letters of liberty and in god we trust.

Judging from the photo, it might be 1DO-002, but unfortunately it isn't the biggie (001); sorry!

This could possibly be a doubled die, but certainly is not the big valuable one. Still would have some value if it's a doubled die. It would require much closer examination to tell.

Well, I figured it wasnt the big sucka, but it's still a let down. Thanks for the input, here's my attempt at some better pictures. I hope you can make out what appears to be doubling on some letters of the motto, and liberty, but for some reason the pictures came out VERY small......

Those are just clips from the original image. I would need better images to tell anything new.

IMHO, it is Machine (Strike) Doubling! Note that the doubling is South primarily on the first "9" and the "6" in the Date and the Mintmark is doubled Southward as well.

I am relatively certain of the same thing, but the doubling on the mintmark is much sharper than the doubling on the date. That's what I would need to confirm on the coin to be able to assess whether it's Machine Doubling.

Thanks for all the input so far, I'm going to try and find one of those microscopes that you can take pictures of and hook it up to your computer, that should help.
So I guess i'll put this in a 2X2 for now, thanks again for the help!
