1973-D Cent With Clash, Ffd, Abrasion, Hubbed Debris?

Brandmeister Pillar of the Community United States 6505 Posts	Posted 11/11/2024 3:07 pm At first I thought this was a solid example of Feeder Finger Damage to the die. But the lines above OD are not entirely parallel to the lines through IN, and FFD doesn't explain the deep gouge between the words. Is this some form of die damage caused by coin striking or deliberate abrasion, or possibly hubbed in debris during die manufacturing? It's visibly much deeper than the surrounding die scratches.
