Please take a look at this 2016 Quarter. At first I thought it was a TDO on the nose of Roosevelt's Horse. But after a closer look, I now think it is a most unusual die chip because of its location.

Sorry, I also meant to send this third image to give the viewer a better idea of the size of the chip compared to the horse's head. It is quite visible without magnification

Is there any consensus or opinion as to whether die chips of this type add value to a coin? I have never sold a coin, but I am interested as to the value of such errors.

Also, Dearborn, I hope you don't mind if I now call this coin "It Looks Funny, But It's Snot"

It's all about the hype....check out ebay sold listing and the Washington crossing the Delaware quarter. I'm not a buyer of die chips but I can see someone paying a few extra dollars for this "It's funny, but it's snot" quarter.
