On this 1991 D penny....these are just same errors as the 1999D I just asked about? First penny I've seen with the li e around Lincolns head. Is the double die error the only one of significant value? I appreciate your patience in helping me learn. More than you'll ever know so thank you again!

I didn't think there was anything of value here....I'm asking what makes something valuable..... is it only double die variety, off center strikes? I know there are A LOT of errors..... I'm trying to learn and I appreciate your reply.... but, yeah.....didn't help LOL

Plating issues, plus maybe Plating Disturbance Doubling. https://www.error-ref.com/other-forms-of-doubling/

Varieties and errors have value, but it depends on the severity and the demand for that particular variety or error. Minor Doubled Dies and errors usually don't fetch too much money.

Major DDO / DDR's, extreme off center strikes are the error that can be of increased value (amongst other rare errors) I would suggest that you study up on coin errors at https://www.error-ref.com/ for a good start to learn for what to have an eye out for.

Then there are varieties out there that can bring in premiums - such as the WAM/CAM on Lincoln Cent coins. for info on these click the underlined link of Wide AM or Close AM to find out what to look for.
