Seven years ago today (11/19/2017) our fabulous contributor commems was awarded the honorary title of CCF Master Historian of USA CommemorativesYou can read about it here: http://goccf.com/t/300446I remain in awe, and deeply respectful, of the breadth and depth of the scholarship that commems so willingly shares with all of us. The honorary thread from 7 years ago was also the genesis for the creation of the Commems Collection summary of his contributions - a written legacy that serves not only today's collectors but will inform our future generations for as long as the internet exists. Thank you commems for all that you do for all of us. It's a privilege to learn from you.

Yes, thank you, Commems. I read every one of your posts. And learn something from almost every one of them.

Major kudos to commems for the many excellent education articles shared with us over the years! They have greatly increased my appreciation for this branch of numismatics.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

I know it has been said before, but commems really should write a book. It would be a best seller in the numismatic world. I would buy a copy or two.
