1984 Lincoln Cent With Thick IGWT? - Coin Community Forum

Or is IGWT thick compared to a typical strike? The other 1984 cents I examined had much thinner lettering. Report this Post to the Staff

The obverse appears to be a moderate die state, just with some odd thickness to IGWT. Particularly what seems unusual to me is that the bottoms of the letters are thicker, where metal flow problems make spatula letters near the rim. Report this Post to the Staff
