Hello & Happy Holidays, my favorite folks!

This is my first time posting in this specific sub-forum, so please let me know if I need to provide more information/ details / pics!

I recently found an old coin purse containing older US coins & wanted to ask your assistance with the general condition or grade or really any information yall might have on some of the coins! I'll even take super interesting & fun facts about them!! :)

In this specific post, I'm requesting information on the 3 Dimes I found in the pouch.
1854 - Seated Liberty dime (<->)
1899 - Barber dime
1905 - Barber dime

Any advice, guidance, &/or notes are truly appreciated! Thank yall for always being so helpful & awesome!

I'll say G-04, AG-03 and AG-03 respectively. Best to show only one coin per thread.

I agree with Mr. Frog on the grades.

In the early 1850's the value of silver increased relative to the value of gold. This resulted in an increase in the value of the silver content in coinage, the resultant hoarding of silver coinage and a scarcity of them for use commerce.

The Coinage Act of February 12, 1853 attempted to reconcile this problem by reducing the weight of silver coins by ~7% (with the exception of the dollar).

You Seated Liberty dime from it's inception through 1853 weighed 2.67 grams. The Coinage Act of 1853 reduced the weigh to 2.49 grams.

Arrows were placed at the date from 1853 through 1855 to indicate the coin was of the newer (lower) weight.

Your 1854 arrows at date dime is, obviously, a member of that group of reduced weight silver coins.
