It looks like they may be die chips along the edge of the three horizontal bars of the E.

@oddguy Think it's part of the sleeve but I'm trying to figure out a way to take a better clearer picture

I am jealous of your 2024 Quarter, still haven't seen any 2024's in hand. Celia looks like she might be fun to party with! Yeeeehaw!

There are another thread talking about that on Cruz and I remember they say that is part of the design, I also searched myself to see what is that and in fact It's part of the sleeve design.

Yeah I agree above and below the "R" in Cruz that's it's part of the sleeve. The "E" it says it's an error when her dress is over the "E" it says an overlap

Quote: The "E" it says it's an error when her dress is over the "E" it says an overlap Can you please elaborate on what or whom "it" is? ... and where you obtained this "overlap" information? Most replies state the "E" is an incuse design and therefore the metal there would be from a die chip... I tend to agree.

@igwt79 lol well I sure wouldn't be calling anyone "it".so that leaves the internet! If you look it "meaning the coin and details" up and search what the mistakes on the coin are called that's what it says.I'm no expert as I'm sure you're not either but I'm just trying to learn as I go doing a lot of research. That's why we are here to get opinions and help not to have people be jerks :)
