I believe this is WDDR-004 after eliminating the possibility of it being 011 or 015. I also noticed that both the obverse and reverse dies are misaligned slightly. The last thing is copper showing on the lower rim of the obverse. I think it is a folded over Rim Fin?

Looks like WDDR-004 to me, nice find. I don't think you have a Rim Fin though.

Cool find!

They're very similar but this looks more like WDDR-015 than WDDR-004 to my eye. The doubling on -004 appears parallel to the wrist while the right side of the doubling on -015 is further from the wrist than the left side, like on your coin. I think this is more likely to be an earlier die state of WDDR-015 than it is to be WDDR-004.

@ Tanman: The reason I ruled out WDDR-015 is when I looked for the obverse marker by the 2, I didn't see it. I went back and played around with lighting for awhile and was able to find it although the gouge circled in red was the only one I initially saw. Reverse markers are iffy - some I see and some I don't. It doesn't mean they are not there. Just that my lighting isn't showing them. But I have to now agree it looks more like WDDR-015.

Yes I've gone back to quarters. The different series provide more variety when looking at them and I've found some fun ones so far!! And I've just started!!

Surprisingly, I've found some very high quality (might pass for BU) State Quarters already.

Nice Seeker_101!! Cents and Quarter are my favorite ones, it's always fun looking through them, although I can't deny that I've found some interesting things in the Half Dollar
