Thanks for such quick replies! Looking forward to finding out what that means. I'm just glad it's not a booger.
I'm not a collector. I metal detect and was separating my zinc from copper pennies, and rolling them. I was about 10 coins short of a full (copper) roll so went to my car and that the mark on that penny stood out to me. Glad I posted it!
What would y'all recommend I do with it?

Not bad pics and very interesting looking but not sure this is a lam. If you could get closer, clear pics, that would be great. If possible, clear close strait shot and possibly some angled shots. -makecents-

I have an iPhone and was using the magnifier feature, I'll try w/different lighting.
I do have a couple different jeweler's loupes I could try to get a photo through. Anyone attempted that?
Any other "how to pic" suggestions from the community?
