Can someone tell me if this an error or what? The word Liberty ishas the letter E kinda funky.

@brick, thx for re-posting with these pictures. We more often see this type of damage to the letter L of LIBERTY. In that case we typically say that it might be mechanical damage from a gum ball machine mechanism. Whatever the cause, though, your coin is damaged.
