I was able to get 3 rolls the the Inuit toonie coloured or so I thought. Opened the first one with 2 heads showing and got 7 plain and 18 coloured
Second roll 10 plain and 15 coloured
Last roll I put into a tube to keep safe for now.
In hand I like the plain one better, you judge.

Plain

Coloured

edited to add, it was hard to find an MS65 in the 2 rolls

Those are really fine, mcshilling - excellent score!
So what are you going to do with all the extras....

Awesome acquisition!

Are coins with King Charles out in the circulation now? Or are they coming out slowly like in the UK?

Brilliant for you that you manage to find them as well!

Will we ever see 50 cent pieces return to the circulation as well?

What could possibly cause the return of 50-cent pieces to circulation? Like in the States, these heavy coins are only less and less likely to circulate as metal coins gradually and inevitably fade from use.

Very nice coins Mike. I'm with you, I prefer the plain coin.

Good to see you made it to the big lights and stocked up on coins you can't get in your home town. Always take advantage of opportunities like that.

In Canada, with the loonie and toonie replacing the one and two dollar bills, "heavy coins" continue to flourish. Of course their main competition is plastic, which is gaining usage all the time.
