to the CCF, Tacna2025! Your coin has been counterstamped by someone with that letter S. This occurred after it left the mint and is considered post-mint damage ( PMD).People have been counterstamping coins virtually since there were coins! Many people collect them. Our esteemed moderator jbuck has an interesting counterstamped Eisenhower dollar as his avatar. There is "Post your Counterstamp" topic here - you should add yours there! http://goccf.com/t/126486
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Nice coin.
*** Edited by Staff - The bad word filter is in place for a reason. Bypassing the filter and making the intended word obvious anyway is completely unacceptable. ***

Nice counterstamp. Back in ancient times, counterstamps were used to legitimize currency such as if their was a change in emperors or to be accepted in another country. Over the course of time, the reasons for their use has changed and become widely varied.

Go to Amazon and search "metal stamp" Main use of these is craftwork and putting IDs on metal objects. Sometimes someone is board and will use it on a piece of scrap metal (coin) as a test

I once found a quarter with a heart #10084; inside George Washingtons head.
