I found a coin with that exact same error, also Philly mint. I've compared it to several other 1975's and this one is definitely unique. Haven't don't much research yet, but I just wanted to bring this to your attention as well as for anyone in the comments that may have concluded that this is something that occurred post- mintage. Let me know if you've done any digging since the post. Peace

Welcome to the forum Chrislars23. I'm not sure what you are seeing in your coin, but it looks like a normal well circulated 1975 cent. The original coin in this thread was correctly identified as damage on the 5.

Your coin shows a regular strike, need to consider the circulation wear that affects the devices on any coin, below is an example of a Uncirculated one.
