My 16 year old son just called me. Staying the night with a friend, They had to run down to the local Walgreen's to grab something for the friends parents. And he saw that they had the Log cabin cents for change. He Looking out for old dad cleaned them out. Got 12 rolls. When he asked where they got them the teller told him that he could not tell him that. Weird
What a good son! This just happened 20 minutes ago. Just wanted to let everyone know.
Anyone have any ideas about the finish on these it does not look normal.
just some quick shots of one roll end cut and pasted together. all shots the same coin

Nice! I think it's that your son was thinking of you! Is he a collector too? Or just slightly interested. Anyhow nice find. I was lucky to get 2 rolls yesterday at the bank.

My son just this past year started showing interest in the hobby.
He is working on a Dansco book of American Silver Eagles. His favorite right now. About half way through the book.

Great news, If Dawson did that he would charge me the standard premium. He would make me buy him some more World coins. LOL

My son is only 9 months old, but I'm saving all the wheat pennies I find roll hunting in case he is interested one day. He will probably have most of the 40s and 50s with the exception of some S mints by the time he is 2!

Those are Brinks wrapped rolls. They are clear plastic shrink wrapped and not paper rolled.
