Nice to stumble upon this date regardless but assuming this old gal spent time in the titanic. Cheers for your opinions!

I thinking it's a dug coin. Has that environmental cameo to it.
Errers and Varietys.

In regards to the crud, think this would be a good candidate for an acid bath science experiment or kinda pointless?

How did you come to "stumble" upon it?

That would indeed be miraculous it spent time on the Titanic, considering she sank 10 years prior to the coin being minted. If ya want to experiment on it with various chemicals I myself would keep it as is.

Marve: I bought a jar of wheats at a local antique store. In regards to the Titanic, I meant the movie Titanic, obviously

Definitely a candidate for the worst-looking coin posted on the forum this past year.

Quote: I bought a jar of wheats at a local antique store. Nice - too bad about it's condition. I would at least soak it in acetone just to see what happens.
