@mon, hopefully someone can confirm, but I believe these Morgan dollars were bundled by the hundreds into both bags and then thrown around from one mint storage area to another. These marks look like handling damage to me.

I don't see any errors or clash, just bag marks, most not protruding to me. The mint and banks stored the coins in canvas bags. Though they can be mint state, never circulated, they can have a lot of damage scratches and dings from hitting each other and being moved around such as this pic of silver dollars on CoinWorld. If you think it might be an error coin try to find a match on Vamworld.com. There may be a few small die chip bumps on your coin, nothing important.
