I will sneak in with a guess of: 16 If I win, both prizes are cool, and thanks nickelsearcher  Almost makes me wonder if the three dates chosen relate to the birth years of nickelsearcher and two other siblings/parents he has?  |

I gave the reason for the selected three dates in the opening description of the contest. They are simply very common coins and I should expect to find lots of them.
