1982 Small Date Zinc Penny Possible Doubled Die Obverse / DDO

humble1313 New Member Canada 47 Posts	Posted 01/10/2025 08:08 am Hey Experts - Novice Saran here. I have a 1982 small date zinc penny. One with no mint mark and one with d mint mark. The 2 in the date seems to be doubled. It does not appear to be Machine Doubling, plate determination bubbles etc. Unfortunately I was unable to take a clear picture of the doubling due to limitations from my end. Can someone take a look for me as I clearly see the 2 being overlapped by another 2. Report this Post to the Staff

Unfortunately I am unable to take a picture without the shadow . If you look at the tip of the twonyou will see the second two tip. I habe shown this penny in person to others but unable to take ackear picture as I do not possess the necessary equipment to do so. Dearborn Moderator United States 94795 Posts	Posted 01/10/2025 3:42 pm don't give up - I agree uploading images can be a challenge at first (especially on a phone) but once you get used to it, it is very easy.
