I wanted to get opinions on my best 1983 Penny with errors.. It is ungraded and I was wondering if I should have it graded or just try to find a new owner who would want it as is. What would be the smarter thing to do?

These pics cannot all be of the same coin.

this is all the same coin. I am using a high powered coin microscope. maybe the light is too bright. I can post a video of the coin if that would help to prove its the same coin

to the CCF, LuckyPenny83! It looks like you have a minor " Struck Through Grease" error. There is very little numismatic premium associated with one so slight.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Pics 2 and 5 are surely not the same coin, or if they are, then they're pretty lousy pics for comparison.

Looks like a minor Greaser, as well as maybe Split Plating on the building. https://www.error-ref.com/split-plating/

they could be bad for comparison. (Im learning how to use the new microscope) I'll retake those and post here again.
Grease was what I thought on the letters. But I was also interested in what looks like three levels on the side of the building (doubling?)

Your cent would make a good album hole filler until better comes along. The weakness in the reverse strike (STATES) is often due to insufficient metal to fill both obverse and reverse detail when the coin is struck.. This is not uncommon in 'early' zinc core cents. In my opinion, the coin isn't be a good candidate for submission for grading.

here are some low quality pictures of the coin using my phone. just to show it in different light an quality. The last one is a picture of the coin sitting on the microscope base that I am using. I cannot get the eye piece moved far out enought on the microscope to get the full diameter of the coin in a picture with it.

to CCF.

@Luckypenny:
Your images are just fine, maybe next time post them a bit larger so they are easier to see.

But Ijn, just covered what I was going to say - that the obverse design elements are to blame for the weak strike of the reverse.

The first clue to this is that the very top of the letters on the reverse are struck up normally , and this is because that that area fall into the 'groove' of the obverse (between the rim and the bottom of the Bust of Lincoln).
