The Spike looks a little different than Cuds # SKH-40S-03.
If it is the same, which one would you say was first?
This one has the crack running east and stops just off of the bust into the field.
At the bottom of the bust there's a crack branching off west of the main crack.
The MM and date lines up.
No marker matches on obverse or reverse.

The Pre Cuds on reverse are not listed on Cuds.
There's a crack and laminate problems from the east rim through and down the middle right wheat. The laminate separation continues very faint over to the rim just below the left wheat.

Thanks for your time and input.
Rob.

The crack going across the bust is very similar to UDC-1c-1940S-01. Maybe its a later die state? Nice find.

Thanks everyone

@Seeker101. I saw the UDC-01.
It is the same crack as SKH-03 and mine.
On my coin and SKH-03 the crack doesn't seem to travel that far west as UDC-01. I think if it did Cuds would have pointed it out.
On both those coins the crack running off between the bust and the rim is a pretty good size compared to my coin.

I was thinking. My coin could be early state then SKH-03 and then UDC-01 could be the last.

Please let me know if I'm on the right track.
Thanks again.
RobO.

If your coin is on the right in the comparison image, then I would say yours is a later die state judging by the die flow line being stronger near the rim.

Cograts as that has a lot of cracks on it.
