Question About 1882-1883 Korea 3 Chon

casualcoincollector Pillar of the Community United States 574 Posts	Posted 01/18/2025 01:23 am Hello, I purchased this 1882-1883 Korean 3 Chon recently and it was listed as an "old counterfeit" but I am not totally convinced that this item is actually a counterfeit and I think that it may be just a poorly cast original example. Should be around 10.6 grams according to Numista: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces21038.html Obverse center circle looks a little off, compared to Numista images, but I suppose that could be from wear?
