So I made a short trip to my local coin store here in central Louisiana, where he typically has a small tray of $1 coins of all denominations, but I'm generally in the market for uncirculated Wheaties, or LMC's, I'm equal opportunity! Last time he had a few dozen uncirculated Kennedy's, one graded MS-65, but by the dealer, as it was in the the 2x2's that are generally white and require staples! (Dealer did not flatten staples which I found odd, especially after discovering what appeared to be a staple scratch in one of the Kennedy's that found its way home with me). I still got it and a handful of other Kennedy's, since my niece Kennedy, the recipient of many gracious CCF members a few years back, was with me and my goal is for her and I to complete a Kennedy album one day, but I'm getting off topic!! Much to our dismay, someone cleaned out the dollar bin earlier that week, but I was able to purchase this lil '43 steel LWC set with this fancy holder! First question, was this a pretty common coin holder for that time period? Has no logos but seems fair

Has no logos but seems pretty well made, each hole is beveled, so coins cannot fall through, however they seem to have these lil blisters, or dots on the coins. I'll first post a pic of the holder and will keep trying to get a good pic of what I'm talking about, however it's proving quite difficult given the glare .

CCB420, that looks like a vintage Capital holder - a 3 part sandwich with two outer clear plexiglass layers with a white one to hold the coins in place. If so, they sell for more than $3 by themselves! Just unscrew it and take the coins out for photography. By the way, I'm in SW Louisiana - does your LCS have much in the way of international coins?
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Hondo, I do recall there being some foreign coins, but I don't have a ton of interest, so wasn't paying that much attention, but I will look next time I go
