macmercury Pillar of the Community United States 5841 Posts	Posted 02/01/2025 5:17 pm Good eye in catching this rare Trumpet S, according to David Lange the 43 Trumpet S represent less than 0.5 percent of 1 percent of the entire mintage for that year, this is considered a lot harder to locate than the 41 Large S variety. The few I have seen were already identified and on nicer coins, and the price was correspondingly high. I was quite happy to add this one to my reference coins, even in rough shape.
