Bought a coin from a Canadian seller about two weeks ago. After leaving Vancouver, it went on quite a wild journey: Shipped to LA first, customs processing. Then forwarded to Bell Gardens, CA. Then, back to LA for a while, and finally sent to the East Coast at Warrendale, PA. Get closer when it arrived in Jersey City, NJ. But then, why not send it back East to.... Phoenix, AZ? Maybe the coin needs a sun break?

I've had a couple instances of something similar over the past few years--items eventually showed up, but they spent a few extra days touring the US according to tracking updates.

a very nice nation wide trip it is taking - wouldn't be surprised if it arrives in a Winnebago But yes, a stop in Phoenix might be good for it as it is so warm here (85 degrees yesterday) that it will help to keep it moisture free.

I've had several situations like this. I call them "Johnny Cash" coins because They've Been Everywhere Man, They've Been Everywhere. In your case I suppose it would be a Glen Campbell coin because By The Time It Gets To Phoenix, She'll Be Rising. No wonder why the USPS is in a financial hole.

I almost always have a good experience with all three in the "last mile" (my local carriers). It is all the stuff in the middle that can get wonky.

I hope the coin finally arrived!? Good experiences here with my last 3 packages that came through U.S. customs (all December auction wins). I did have a couple of odysseys as described by NumisEd back in pandemic days, but none since. 1. Mailed from San Marino 12/19/25 Left Italy 1/13/25 (I can understand all that nice sightseeing between San Marino and the departure airport ) Cleared U.S. customs NY 1/17/25 Arrived here wihthout Johnny Cash detours (on this side of the pond) 1/22 2. Mailed from Belgium 1/14/25 Cleared U.S. Customs NY 1/19/25 Arrived 1/24/25 3. Mailed from Netherlands 1/22/25 Cleared U.S. Customs Chicago 1/30/25 Arrived 2/3/25

Unfortunately, it wasn't quite what I expect so the coin went to the stack.
