Hello Everyone;
Its been a while since I have done a post but I had to do this one.
I was going through my coins the other day and found this really ugly coin.
I didn't think much of it till I took a little bit closer look.
Ya just another old coin left out in the weather all rusty .
This coin kind of interested me it felt different .
So I took out other 1957d coin out and this coin was thicker ,I thought.
So I decided to weight the good coin it was 3.1 g and the ugly one was 2.7 g.
That to me was I thought was expectable it rusted the weight away right.
But something bugged me what was this shinny spots coming out of the old coin and if this was copper and left out in the elements where was all the green patina ?.
Now this kind of bugged me so I took a closer look at the coin with my computer
and great camera ,what I found was lot of tiny little beads on on the ugly coin. Some were very shiny some were not. I had to look real close and take some pictures so every one can see .Let me know what you think. I thought this was interesting!
Thanks Dan
