looking for information for this mis aligned mint. Its obviously a lot closer to the date than other 1952d cents. I shared an image of 2 ea. 1952d lincolns, the one on top you'll notice the d is a lot closer to the date than the comparable below it. thnx for any details you can share

Mint marks used to be punched in by hand, into the dies until 1990, so mint marks positions varied.

Agree--hand-punched mint mark positions can (and do) vary.

The main requirement of the placement of the MM is that it is under the date and is not touching any other device elements or the rim.
