1944 Mercury Dime With Reverse Die Clash.

I don't know if the obverse die was polished—there are certainly a lot of die scratches—or whether it was swapped out. Report this Post to the Staff

Chase007 Pillar of the Community United States 7504 Posts	Posted 02/12/2025 4:27 pm These usually accompany further clashes on the obverse, in this case mostly have been removed from the die, as fine hairy die scratches are visible in front of the Mouth, Eye, Nose arch and back of the Neck due to die abrasion .
