I picked this one up a little while back for $2. It has a good look to it except for the spot right above the ribbon.

I'd give it a 63 but with that damaged obverse rim it will probably be detailed.

Is the rim ding really enough to details this one? It looks tiny and doesn't appear to show on the reverse, hence seems rather insignificant. Maybe drop it a grade?

TPGs are more strict when it comes to common coins. A 1901 Indian cent had a mintage of over 79.5 million.

I think MS-63 is fair. I don't see anything remotely close to detailing this coin. $2 is highway robbery, you should track down the seller and give him a few more dollars

Yes it is. I put a drop of verdicare on it, but it doesn't want to come off.

not a good idea to spot shot verdicare. soak the entire coin or don't touch it
