I haven't had any luck finding this coin in my guides. Maybe this is some sort of token? The "mint mark?" is an A above the number 200. As you can see by my pictures I'll need to do some reading in the photography forum.

Well, I cannot give you any specific info about it, but it is from the Nuremburg to Furth train line. It is around the time of Notgeld, or emergency money, so it might be 200 marks and used instead of real money which was changing all the time.

Thank you augsburger, that was a quick response. Would you know if there is any collection value?

I think this was a token used on that train line. If it were used as money it would be marked either Pfennig or Mark. There isn't much information in English about Notgeld era pieces but it is collectible and does have some small value.

The Nuremberg-Furth train line opened in 1835 as the world's first regularly-scheduled passenger route. The original steam engine is depicted on your token.

The text on the picture side, below the train scene, is somewhat difficult to read but can be deciphered as ...
DEUTSCHLANDS 1. EISENBAHN 7.12.1835
(Germany's First Railway, 7 December 1835)

By the way, the Ludwigsbahn was closed in late October 1922. Today the connection is served by a subway line.
