Always show both sides of the coin when asking questions. What you have looks like a stain. Certainly not a Cud and not sure what you mean by " the alignment is exactly flipped".

And thank you for the advice. I did add both photos, but only one made it through.

@lff, no worries about the duplicate threads--I've merged them into a single thread so you should be all set now.

Ok Diggy...If you're not familiar with US coins they are minted in a Coin Alignment ( ) (flip top to bottom) where as other Countries have their's minted by what we in the US call Metal Alignment ( )(flip left to right) for the images to be viewed normally....Hope that helps.... edited: Oh good luck on future finds, have fun, keep asking when needed and to CCF

No Cud, just stained, maybe damage. What are the reasons you think it should be graded?

So before I say just PMD, I was wondering what this is: it looks like metal pealing say from a lamination?

to the CCF I see a stained and possibly damaged coin. Not worth the large $ it will cost to get graded.
Take a look at my other hobby ... http://www.jk-dk.art

@Iffernamersuki - Coin alignment as used with most U.S. coins. Appears to be stained and damaged. PMD. Not worth the cost of grading.
