They're listed under SBAs, but I don't see that odd SBA rim in the photos Don

They look too big to be Susan B's. I am kicking myself because I think they might be Silver Eagles. I nearly bid on them, but decided not to take a $125 chance.

Sorry, but they are silver eagles. I wouldn't kick myself too hard, though. There some serious hazing on some of them. I have to wonder what type of "plastic" he has them in. It's very possible that the hazing is due to the plastic, but my gut instinct says that these are not BU coins and you didn't miss out on anything.

Silver spot is at $7.56 right now. With shipping, these coins went for $7.27 each. Too small a margin to be that upset about. I was looking more at the collectability factor. I don't think they would have enhanced a collection and with the price so close to spot, there's no guarantee that next week they won't be worth less than what they went for.

I'm with Susan. I am suspicious of the reason why the seller posted such a poor picture, even if he is a newbie. Looks like another pig-in-a-poke. Also, higher quality "older" ungraded silver eagles can be had for less ($7.52) like this auction for a 1987 ASE: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...2581275&rd=1

Thats $7.52 + $4.95 for shipping = $12.47

Nuts. You're right. I thought I saw "free shipping" but it apparently was the next auction up. Still, the point remains that better ASEs can be had at good prices with less guesswork than the auction in the OP.
